TempoLens acts as the Data Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data We Collect

A. Website Analytics (Anonymous)

We use privacy-friendly analytics provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website usage. This includes:

• Page visits
• Referrer domain
• Approximate country (derived from IP, not stored by us)
• Interaction events (e.g., install button clicks, pricing clicks, demo interactions, scroll depth)

We do not collect personal identifiers. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not use profiling technologies.

This data is anonymous and aggregated.

B. Account Data

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Account creation timestamp
• Subscription status

This data is processed via Supabase to authenticate users and provide access to the Service.

C. Payment Data

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

D. Contact Forms

When you contact us through our feedback or support form (hosted by Tally), we collect the information you provide, such as:

• Email address
• Message content
• Category of inquiry (feedback, bug report, or support request)

E. Extension Data and Privacy

Ephemeral Processing: The extension analyzes text only when you trigger it. Processing occurs entirely in your browser's temporary memory. The text content is never sent to our servers.

Local Storage: Reading speed, preferences, and statistics are stored locally on your device.

No History Tracking: We do not collect, store, or view browsing history, URL logs, or page content.

3. Strictly Necessary Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies for:

• Authentication (keeping you logged in)
• Payment security and fraud detection (Stripe)

We do not use advertising, tracking, or marketing cookies.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Processing is based on:

• Performance of a contract - to provide and maintain the Service
• Legitimate interests - anonymous website analytics to improve the Service

Some data processors (Stripe, Supabase, Tally) may process data outside the EEA. We rely on:

• Anonymous analytics is retained only in aggregated form
