1. Description of Service

TempoLens ("the Service") is a browser extension designed to improve your reading experience using RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) speed reading and Bionic Highlighting technology. The Service includes the browser extension, the website at tempolens.com, and any associated services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using TempoLens, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@tempolens.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

4. Plans and Trials

• Free plan - available to all users with core features and a daily read limit
• Pro plan - available via monthly subscription with unlimited reads and all features
• 7-day free trial - available upon sign-in for new Pro subscribers
• Lifetime license - one-time payment for permanent access

5. Payments and Billing

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact support@tempolens.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Abuse system limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share, redistribute, or sublicense the Service to third parties
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service - including but not limited to software, design, logos, and documentation - are owned by TempoLens and its operator. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TempoLens and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you have paid to TempoLens in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
